WERA has a unique way to compose that derives from her performing style using a cello and a looper. She creates a whole orchestra of harmonies and melodies using only one cello and her voice.
My challenge lied in the difficulties of creating a full sound when only one instrument was used for the whole instrumentation. I achieved this result by layering additional strings in the background to add depth and have a richer frequency range.
I have worked on 2 projects with WERA, one cover song and one original, and we are currently in the process of making 2 full albums together.
